Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actress. She made her screen debut in Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic and was the recipient of the British Academy Television Award for Best actress. She speaks French, German, English and Romanian fluently. Her father, a theatre professor in one of the top Romanian drama schools, is also an instructor in theatre. Won the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award in The Young Actor Gala Mangalia. In 2008 the European Film Promotion Board recognized her as a European Shooting Star. She was for four years an academic in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress born on 01 April 1978. She was born in Iasi Romania. As an actress with Romanian origin, Anamaria Marinca made her debut in film with the British-Canadian TV film Sex Traffic for which she received the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. In addition to her outstanding performance in her debut movie she will also be remembered for her performance on the Romanian movie "4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days" that won her numerous awards including an award from the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. She starred as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and saptamani si 2 zile (four months three weeks and two three weeks and two days) that was awarded with the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also a major part of her career. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in the BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian drama Boogie. Later, she had an important role in 2014's Fury in which she portrayed Irma her German Aunt of Emma.
